Shariff James known as “Reef,” is a leader, motivator, teacher and entrepreneur. He has a passion for creating movements that impact the way people experience and enjoy life. From the moment you meet Shariff, it’s easy to see why Mission Entertainment is now one of the tri-state’s premiere sources of entertainment for young urban professionals. Mr. James has been a key instrument in the development of the Mission Entertainment brand. He has helped to mold it into the successful enterprise it is today.

Under the leadership of Mr. James Mission Entertainment became incorporated in 2002. He remains steadfast in a vision that continues to push the organization into a class all its own. Mr. James is a trailblazer, and hands-on leader with a knack for bringing people together. His congeniality makes him approachable and easy to work with and his drive and tenacity are both reflected in his dedication to the organization and his willingness to oversee every aspect of every endeavor undertaken by Mission.

Mr. James also enjoys networking and is always making potential contacts. Now with over 10 years in the game, 75 successful events, over 2,500 patrons in attendance at a event, Mr. James and his team has elevated Mission as a force to be reckoned with. He continues to move Missi on into the forefront as he recognizes the needs of the young working class audience and is committed to planning as well as promoting events that reflect the level of entertainment his audience expects and deserves. This has led to the success of Mission; and since 1998, Shariff continues to satisfy his customers and take the party/ event planning industry by storm. Throughout the years he has gained the respect of his customers and competitors as being an effective event producer and leader, capable of planning and implementing events successfully. Prior to devoting to Mission and Real Estate investing, he invested six years as a Leasing Director in real estate for a major NYC corporation. It was there that he gained valuable insight in business management, which translated into a solid foundation for Mission’s official launch, ten years ago.

Also as a successful executive, life coach, and mentor, Mr James also encourage others to live their dreams. Mr james has a strong passion for speaking and teaching others valuable lessons he learned on his journey. His signature warm, caring, and humorous style, has attracts like minded people which represents and built his positive movement.

As a devoted father and husband, Shariff is serious about remaining engaged within the community. Beginning in 2002, Mission host and annual event geared towards fun family enjoyment: a Family and Friends Outing,20in which his young audience was exposed to a good time with their families; and a Back to School Night, as a last minute getaway for school-aged children. This event also gave the Mission Entertainment team opportunity to provide students with fundamental tools such as a school supplies and words of encouragement.

Mr. James is a active mentor and speaker at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey Young Fathers program and was awarded the Young Fathers Appreciation award in 2007. He has also participated in numerous conferences and panel discussions on family related topics for local community institutions such as Family Intervention Services as well business topics. Mr. James is a 2002 graduate of the Prudential Young Entrepreneurial Program, and a recipient of the J.O.B. Marketing and Travel Sales Achievement Award for producing one of the biggest Summer Fests in Northern NJ (2002), and the Mission Man of Achievement Award from is team. He also has been a feature Entrepreneur is a new book Young Gifted Entrepreneurs.

In his free time, Shariff enjoys reading, family outings with his wife and children as well as skating, playing a few rounds of spades, networking and producing events.
